I think - I THINK - I might be getting paid tomorrow, with Friday being a bank holiday. That means I’m now attractive and emotionally available to do things and go places and meet people for maybe a week to ten days, then I’ll go back into my skint ugly reclusion like every month.

Is that a girl or a boy? And you smile because today maybe you might just pass. But then you see their eyes register no facial hair, no knot in your throat, no bulge in your pants. They say it again, louder, tauntingly.

Is that a girl or a boy. This time they know the answer and they just want to see you squirm.

And you do.

And they snicker.

An analemma is the figure “8″ loop that results when one observes the position of the sun at the same time during the day over the course of a year. Due to the earth’s tilt about its axis (23.45°) and its elliptical orbit about the sun, the location of the sun is not constant from day to day when observed at the same time on each day over the course of a full year. Furthermore, this loop will be inclined at different angles depending on one’s geographical latitude.
